Research & Publications
We Publish What We Learn, Not Just What We Sell.
Kuhedu is a systems engineering company. That means most of what we know comes from building things that had to work in the real world — and we think that knowledge is worth writing down properly.
This page is our publications index: the categories we research and write in, as we build them out. Some are active today. Others are queued behind the systems that will generate the evidence for them. We'd rather tell you that honestly than fill this page with placeholder titles.

Whitepapers
Whitepapers
Long-form technical position papers on the systems problems we choose to solve, and why the obvious first answer is usually the wrong one.
Publications forthcoming
Research
Research
Original inquiry into how learning, infrastructure, and civic systems actually behave under real operating conditions — not idealized ones.
In progress
Case Studies
Case Studies
Documented outcomes from live deployments: what we set out to measure, what actually changed, and what we would engineer differently next time.
Published as pilots mature
Experiments
Experiments
Smaller, faster explorations — prototypes and proofs of concept we run before we commit real engineering time to a full system.
Ongoing
Architecture
Architecture
Technical breakdowns of how our systems are actually designed — the reasoning behind data flows, failure modes, and the decisions that determine whether something scales.
Publications forthcoming
Learning Science
Learning Science
Research at the intersection of pedagogy and systems design — how students actually learn, and how that evidence should shape what gets built.
In progress
Future Education
Future Education
Forward-looking perspectives on where education technology is headed, and where we think the industry is quietly optimizing for the wrong metric.
Publications forthcoming
AI
AI
Applied perspectives on artificial intelligence inside institutional contexts — governance, reliability, and where AI genuinely helps versus where it's decoration.

How We Publish
The same discipline we apply to systems, applied to writing about them.
Grounded in real deployments
We write from what we've actually built and measured, not from projections or hypothetical use cases.
Reviewed internally before release
Every piece is checked against the evidence behind it before it goes out under the Kuhedu name.
Honest about what didn't work
A case study that only reports success isn't research — it's marketing. We publish the failures too.
Updated as evidence changes
Our positions shift when the data does. We treat published work as a living record, not a fixed claim.
Read the Thinking
Our research is still building out.
There's no index of published papers yet — but we're happy to talk through the systems, architecture, and thinking behind Kuhedu's work directly.
